Girls Brigade

The Company meets each Wednesday night from September through to May and currently has 55 girls attending regularly to take part in a range of different activities and badge work.  The badge work is split into four sections Physical Activity, Education, Service and Spiritual Development. The Girls Brigade is a Christian organisation therefore we encourage the girls to go along to Junior Church on a Sunday.  We welcome any new girls and hope that the girls attending enjoy a varied and fun programme of activities

Meeting Times from September 2009

Explorers – P1 – P3  6.30pm – 7.30pm

Juniors – P4 -P7   6.30 pm – 8.00pm 

Brigaders -   S1 – S6       6.30 pm – 8.30pm

Each year the girls have the opportunity to participate in Collage, Keep Fit and bible competitions which are organised by the Division Headquarters in Glasgow.

 As a company we try to support the church with a financial contribution and we hold regular fund-raising events and activities to support company funds.
